Now available: the eBook Edition for the book Running Out of Time—Introducing Behaviorology to Help Solve Global Problems

March 2014: The publisher has released the eBook Edition of the book Running Out of Time—Introducing Behaviorology to Help Solve Global Problems, by Stephen F. Ledoux (see earlier news release for details, or go to the BOOKS page). For the e–book edition, and for later printings, some changes or additions improved a handful of paragraphs across the chapters. Readers of the first printing (identifiable by the “0” at the end of the “Improved printing” line on page iv) can obtain a PDF of all these improvements by emailing a request to the author from the CONTACTS page. Of course, while initially reducing paper usage, current ebook formatting also reduces many of the typographic characteristics of the hardcover edition that contribute to easy reading, such as no word parts hyphenated at the end of a line (although one notable exception is that ebook readers can change the type size).

The eBook Edition is available from the usual online sources, or one can call the main distributor, Direct Book Service, Inc., at 800–776–2665. The company will likely answer the phone with “Dogwise,” because their most popular specialty involves books about our canine friends; several of these books already specifically apply the laws of behavior that Running Out of Time… systematically introduces. You can also order at their website (www.dogwise.com).
