TIBI Arranges 3 More Free Downloads

TIBI has arranged to make three useful documents available as free downloads from the BOOKS–Study Questions page. (a) One is the document, “About using ‘H & S’ (Holland & Skinner): The Analysis of Behavior.” This multi–page piece describes some considerations and steps that can make a reader’s repertoire expand more successfully when reading/studying this classic programmed textbook. (b) Another is the article, “Behaviorology terminology adjustments for The Analysis of Behavior by Holland and Skinner,” by Mike Shuler and Stephen Ledoux, which originally appeared in Journal of Behaviorology, 20 (1), pp. 3–15. This article, which is also included as part of the “About using ‘H & S’ (Holland & Skinner): The Analysis of Behavior” document, provides a list of suggested changes that can bring this classic and capable programmed textbook, from 1961, up to date regarding some current terminology used consistently across several recent behaviorology books and textbooks. And (c) the remaining document is “Study Questions for B. F. Skinner’s Walden Two.” Stephen Ledoux wrote, as well as collected, and used this set of study questions, which has multiple but undocumented authors, from 1976 through 2012 when he put it in this form to make it available for free to anyone who wishes to use these study questions to get more out of their reading of Skinner’s classic novel about some ways that society can benefit from applying the natural science of behavior to ordinary cultural practices (e.g., education, child rearing).
